Inside: the house is on two floors and was totally restored in 2010-11. On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to the kitchen, a large living/dining room and a bathroom. The kitchen and living room access a variety of terraces. On the first floor, a large central hallway leads to four double bedrooms and a fifth room perfect for a cot. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, whereas the other two share a bathroom between them and can also use the bathroom at the foot of the stairs. In a wing of the main house is a dependance with independent access. Downstairs is a living room, a basic kitchen and a bathroom. A steep staircase, suitable for the relatively athletic, leads to a low-ceilinged bedroom. Decoration throughout is very stylish, with a mixture of strong colours, contemporary restorations and antique furniture. All bathrooms have showers.
Outside: Casa Romito is set on several hectares of rolling hillside with extensive views of the coast and the surrounding hills. Grassy banks are studded with fruit trees and centuries-old oaks and chestnuts while in the middle, just below an original well-head, is a high quality pool with wooden decking. The terraces in front of the kitchen, where the dining table and the barbeque are placed, command superb sea views which are at their most dramatic at sunset. This is a place for lovers of relaxation and the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Think About
A great family house, and a superb base for walking in the Madonie Nature Reserve. It is 20mins of winding road up the hill from Cefalù. Golf course nearby. The helpful, discreet owners sometimes stay in another cottage on the grounds, but will not disturb and the pool and gardens remain exclusive to guests.
Should you require more space during the high season, a separate, independently accessed guest house sleeping two is available at a small extra fee.
