Inside: the house is accessed from its reed-shaded terraces and one is immediately struck by the airy, cool effect of the interior design: high, sloping woven-bamboo ceilings supported by white-painted steel joists and punctuated by skylights, white walls and light-coloured furnishing sand fittings. The living and dining areas share one large open-plan space with the superbly fitted modern kitchen, which comes with dark granite work surfaces and a double-fronted fridge-freezer. A corridor leads towards the rear of the house and the sleeping quarters: two double bedrooms, each with excellent quality en-suite bathroom with large walk-in showers.
Outside: all four sides of the house are covered by one immense shady portico with a variety of outside dining and lounging areas.
