The Property

On this floor is a living area, a dining area with picture window views towards the coast, a kitchen, a double room, a twin room, a single room and two bathrooms. The lower floor which is reached from the garden, has a living room and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
Outside: The living room on the upper floor leads out on one side onto a panoramic terrace and viewing gallery, on another to the front lawn and pool area, and on the third side, via the kitchen area, to the garden, outside dining and play areas. The shaded outside dining area has a beautiful kitchen, with wood burning oven barbecue and work area with basins and running water. Adjacent to this is a children's play area with swings and a slide. The lower floor has it's own terrace with a columned portico.
The Area
The north flank of the Madonie mountains, just east of Cefalu', is one of the most beautiful areas in Sicily. The sea views are stunning, the flora and fauna incontaminated, and the towns and villages unspoilt. Pollina and Castelbuono, the two nearest towns, are good examples of this. Castelbuono is just now starting to find its place on the tourist map and features a fascinating castle and some good restaurants. Hill-top Pollina is a typical Sicilian village.
The beach at Pollina, which is just 10 minutes drive from Cecilia, is well equipped in summer for the benefit of the clients of an adjacent Italian holiday resort. Out of the peak season, however, it is relatively deserted.
