About the Property


Inside: the main entrance leads to a large, light and airy, living and dining area that connects seamlessly with the well-equipped, modern kitchen. Also on the ground floor are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs are two large double bedrooms with balconies and views over the garden and a twin room. Two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower complete the upstairs accommodation.

Outside: a large furnished terrace, accessed both from the kitchen and the living-dining area, is ideal for long, lazy lunches and dinners. The terrace merges seamlessly with the extensive lawned gardens, featuring a wide variety of fragrant Mediterranean vegetation. The gated pool, which is about 20 metres from the house, also boasts a shady gazebo home to a small gym with exercise bike, weights and, when you work up a sweat, a mini bar. Indeed, during the summer season you will probably spend most of your waking hours there, in the garden and on the terrace.

Think About

The garden is wonderful for families with children. There are 6 bikes available for guests and this is probably the best way to get to Mondello (10 minutes). The beach at Mondello is busy in July and August, but thinkSicily clients may access the TELIMAR, a private and exclusive waterfront club, just 5 mins drive away. Click here to read about the Telimar >>. The helpful, discreet owners occasionally occupy the three other properties on the estate, though use of the gardens and pool remain exclusive to guests.


The Area

Exploring the local Area

Lillì is situated just 20 minutes walk from the charming resort/fishing town of Mondello, which has some excellent restaurants, lively cafes and a fabulous sandy beach. 15 minutes driving or a bus will take you into Palermo, with all its historical and contemporary wonders.

Owing to its ease of access to the motorway just north of Palermo (and therefore avoiding the Palermo ringroad) Mondello is also an excellent base for exploring Western Sicily including the Greek cities of Segesta and Selinunte, Erice, Trapani and the Zingaro nature reserve to name a few.

There is the possibility of renting power boats at Mondello to take you around the bay, up the coast or even as far as the island of Ustica.
