Talk to our expert London team

When booking your holiday it is important that everything is just right! To ensure this is so, we recommend you speak to our expert London team about your wishes and requirements. They visit the properties regularly and will be happy to answer all your questions, give advice and point you in the right direction.

Checking prices and availability

The prices of all our villas/wineries and retreats can be found on each individual property page. You may view prices in a selection of currencies and pay in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros. To find out if a property is available for your dates, just add it to your shortlist, send an email to info@thinksicily.com or call our London office.

Your secure web page

Once you’ve decided on the villa(s)/wineries and retreats you wish to book, your Client Manager will make a provisional booking (to be held for a couple of days) and send you a password to access your own personal page on thinksicily.com. From this personal page you will be able to do the following*:
- confirm and pay for your booking
- inform us about your flight/arrivals times
- specify room configurations
- request travel cots and highchairs
- rent a car
- organise a rental car delivery to your villa
- organise a transfer to your villa
- arrange an in-villa cook
- order wine for your villa
- send us your feedback
*these services and more will become available on an ongoing basis.

Confirming your booking and paying the balance

a. for villa bookings: if you are booking more than 9 weeks before departure, a 30% deposit is sufficient to confirm your villa. Full payment of the balance is then due 9 weeks before departure. If you are booking less than 9 weeks before departure, payment of the full amount is necessary immediately.
b. for Think Pay There bookings (most of the properties in our Wineries and Retreats section), a deposit is payable directly to The Thinking Traveller, while the balance is paid directly at the property on check-out, together with any bills for meals, drink and other services.

Payment

Payment of both the deposit and the balance may be made in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros. You may pay this on-line by credit card through our secure server (when booking you will be given access to a personal password-protected page on our site), by cheque or by bank transfer.

Renting your car

Our rental car booking engine, allows you to book the vehicle that best suits your requirements for pickup at the airport when you arrive in Sicily or Puglia. Alternatively, we can arrange for a rental car to be delivered to your villa.

The joining pack

Once your balance has been paid, and in good time before departure, you will receive your “joining pack”. This will contain all the information you will require for your holiday, including accommodation vouchers, maps, directions, a copy of our guidebook, “A Portrait of Sicily” (for those heading to Sicily), a manual with detailed information about your villa and its surrounding area and any other information relevant to your holiday.

Local support

In addition to your ongoing contact with TheThinking Traveller’s team in London, you will be able to contact a dedicated Local Manager on the ground in Sicily or Puglia from the day before departure until your safe return home. Your Local Manager will be available to provide any assistance you may require, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
