Palermo Falcone e Borsellino International Airport 

30km approx. to the city centre:

Bus: every 30 min, from 06:45 am to midnight (it waits for the last flight in case of delays). Stops in Piazza Ruggero Settimo (Politeama Theatre) -approx. 40 min- and at the central station -approx 55 min-. Tickets on board (€5).

Train: every hour, from 05:40 to 23:40. Arrives at the central station after 55 min, with intermediate stops. Tickets on board (or at the station).

Taxi: always plenty available. Takes 20 to 40 min depending on the traffic. Costs approximately €30-40, calculated on the fare shown on the taximeter plus the supplements for the airport (€7.75), for each item of luggage (€0.26), night run (€1.55), holiday (€1.29).

Catania Fontanarossa International Airport

5km approx. to the city centre

Bus: every 20 min, from 05:00 am to midnight. Arrives at the central station after approx. 20 min, with intermediate stops. Tickets (€0.80) are available from the ticket office opposite the bus stop.

Taxi: takes 15 to 30 min depending on the traffic. Costs approximately €16-20, calculated on the fare shown on the taximeter plus the supplements for the airport (€4.13), for each item of luggage (€0.77), night run (€2.07), holiday (€1.03).
