Cecilia was a delightful villa. I was very much attracted by its style but it was a very good surprise to see it was also a villa with lovely traditionnal features as well... Very nice also to be welcomed with some cold meat, cheese and biscuits to nibble on... The children loved the place. lots of hiding places, enough space at the back for ball games, slides etc...

Amazing, the photos do not do it justice. The chance to swim in the sea in every day was a real plus point. We booked L'Olivastro for the first week of our honeymoon at very short notice. We were thrilled with everything and did not want to leave. Perfect!

We had the most  wonderful holiday.  La Fenice was in the most beautiful spot and was very child friendly!  The children even managed to swim off the bathing platform... The weather  was perfect and the sea was so warm, we could not have had a more perfect family holiday.  We all want to return next year!

Just a short note to let you know that we had a lovely week's holiday at Villa Pizzo Castellaro. We wish we could have stayed another week. The villa is great - nice and cosy - and the location is perfect and the views magnificent. You could never get tired of them.

Best villa holiday we have ever had. Roger at the villa was invaluable and a joy to have around. It was fantastic to have him there and take away the drudgery of laying out and clearing up after meals. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Upon arrival we fell in love with the villa and were quite overwhelmed with how beautiful it is... The decor is impressive yet comfortable and you instantly feel at home. I don't think words can be found to how great the swimming pool is - a huge asset to an already excellent villa... We had a magical two weeks in Sicily and I think the experience has now spoilt us and any hotel will pale in comparison!

We all loved the property, loved the house lay-out, the pool and the fantastic view the house provided. The situation was just what was wanted. We were sad to leave the property as the week seemed to pass so quickly - it's somewhere I'd like to come again in the future. The information pack including directions covered everything (and more) that I'd have liked to know... the service, property, and excellent approach of Think Sicily made La Mora a good choice. I'll be rebooking with you again in the future.

The villa was a delight and the owners charming, helpful and spoke good English. We were made to feel like guests rather than just there on a holiday let... The villa rerpesented real value for money and was a delight. The position, the views, the pool and Caltagirone itself were faultless... No complaints at all. For all of it was a first visit to Sicily and we were not disappointed. We would certainly go again.

We loved our stay. The house was exactly what we wanted. Having rented alot of properties I am always a little uneasy about hidden information but your people were totally open and trueful about the house and location. We loved the feeling of total tranquility and the wonderful sea views. The beach was unbelivable, totally deserted most days (about 15 people for a kilometer) Sundays a few more people but never crowded. Sea safe for young children and only max 5 min walk from the house. We will be back and I have already recommend you to family and friends.

The property was fantastic - clean, big and bright with views to die for.. couldn't have wished for more. The area was beautiful with really friendly locals and some great places to eat and drink. Just wish we'd had some more time to look around the local towns.

The people who took care of the house were very nice and at the restaurant where we ate. I would recommend this house to anyone. We thought the house was centrally located for our needs. It was private and the drive to the cities we wanted to go to was not that far.

For the life of me I cannot work out why. It was fantastic! It is clean and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the views are breathtaking, the pool lovely and the food was terrific!

The house owner made a significant contribution to our holiday. She was helpful in every aspect of our stay. Her cooking is of the highest standard, and we believe it should come highly recommended with the villa. It would be a shame to go to Villa San Filippo without trying her culinary skills. The overall maintenance and cleaning were also excellent.

We were looked after incredibly well - the staff spoke perfect English, were very friendly and cooked great food. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and the wine from the vineyard was brilliant (and cheap). We loved staying at virzi and would recommend to people as the staff did whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (were happy to leave us in dining room until early hours of morning and help ourselves to wine). Also when our plane delayed and we didnt arrive at virzi until midnight they still had huge dinner waiting and made sure we had everything we needed!

I have never arrived at a desination and thought it was better than the brochure/internet until now!! The villa was perfect and laid out so comfortably that you felt at home and that you could use all the facilities. PERFECT!! I cannot praise the service we received from the company enough... well worth every penny, we had the most special honeymoon and the villa should be advertised as being a perfect place for one.

Everyone just absolutuly loved being there so much so that one of our guest is considering a Wedding there in "2010". The town of Cefalu was one of the prettiest of all the towns along the Northern coast. Think Sicily did a great job of very through directions from the airport, as well as sights to see, store hours etc. You really made it easy. The house and location was superb. We loved the feel of the house and the surrounding grounds. We would definitely return in the future.... Settling ourselves into San Pietro for two weeks was a wonderful experience. We availed ourselves to all of the various indoor and outdoor spaces. We could come together at meals, but then there were lots of different spaces so that people could be on their own to relax or read a book. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and had every size cookware one could ever need. It was also charming to have Antonio deliver fresh oranges, lemons and lettuce to our back door.

From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The owneris a most gracious host and the staff catered to our every whim. We really felt like "Lord and Lady of the manor"!! The most excellent wine we have had in a long time. The whole ambiance of the place was just lovely.

The house was extremely comfortable and spacious. The setting is idyllic and pool certainly one of our best ever. Also an extremely welcome 'welcoming meal' had been prepared for us of cheeses and meats and drinks, which since we had been up since 4am with only airline snacks was fallen up with relish - a special thanks to our hosts for this. Ideal setting for walks in the mountains, exploring untouristy hill towns, and swimming in that great pool.

We loved this property! The pictures on the website do not fully convey its beauty and serenity. The terrace, the pool, the views, the antique furnishings, the wine cellar -- everything was perfect. This was really paradise - the only probelm was that it was so wonderful it was hard to leave it. Perfect heaven.

Really wonderful service -everything was better than the pictures!!All eight of us loved it! The pool is wonderful.We came to relize that the idea of renting a villa in San Alfio is a new thing. Even our driver thought we were going to the middle of nowhere--but when the gates opened and he toured the villa with us, he couldn't believe it was such a treasure. The close proximity to Etna is wonderful. Having a cook for two nights was just right--after that you really start touring and are more out for meals. Jessica in London did a great job of putting up with all my questions. Believe me, Gaetano designed and carried out the transformation from winery to villa -- there was always something new and fascinating to look at. Highly recommended. We'll probably be back.

We arrived very late on Easter Sunday, and the owners had laid out a lovely meal, and enough food for the next day or two. They had even left some easter treats for our children. This was much appreciated. Casale Castelluzzo is a charming and characterful old house full of lovely antiques.

The view of the coastline toward the west from the kitchen window is breathtaking. The view of the beaches at Capo d'Orlando provides a truly stimulating and refreshing sight to wake up to each morning.

A superb spacious property that the website doesn't really do justice to. The apartment has been kitted out to an extremely high standard, and the views are superb.

Enjoyed (Masseria Pernice) immensely - xxx and his wife were charming and hospitable and the wine and food were fab.

Overall we found the whole experiance of Il Borghetto to be out of this world and we would not hesitate to return in the future: we are already looking to probably book several visits next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and our extended family all adored the villa--the seaside location, the proximity to Cefalu, the ability to have a couple of home-cooked meals, and the wonderful landscaping made it a real paradise for us all! The Thinking Traveler did an excellent job of assessing the property, and we felt that we made an excellent choice that matched our needs perfectly.

We were happy to relax enjoy the house and garden for quite a part of the time. Restaurants were fun to seek out and enjoy and we spent time exploring the interesting natural history and historical sites around and about, not forcing ourselves too far affield; perfect for us.and more to look forwrd to another time!

The propery is superb, well equipped, excellent quality beds,furnishings etc. The owners were extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful. (...) Respect. Mandranova - Farmhouse is the best place we stayed at. xxxx and xxxx made us very welcome and gave us 3 wonderful days. I only wish we would have stayed longer. We just returned to New York after a really wonderful holiday at the Sant'Elia villa near Palermo. The villa itself was a joy -- spacious, beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. xxxxxx and xxxxx were most gracious hosts.

Staying at Mandranova was a truly wonderful, memorable experience. memories of it will bring a smile to our faces for years to come. the farmhouse itself was more like a sicilian castle ... a haven of peace and beauty. our hosts were the most fascinating, people we have met in many years. they treated us more like old, treasured friends than hotel guests. we hope to return. Mandranova is a rare jewel.

The villa Casa Aveline was beautiful and spacious. We really enjoyed the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom. It was a beautiful and splendid holiday! THe owners were really extremely nice and helpful and even stocked the kitchen somewhat and made a pot of delicious soup for us for our first night!

Solanto was a wonderful experience with wonderful hosts. They did so much to make our holiday unique. The villa was luxuriously decadent, the sunsets out of this world and the bathing facilities and possibilities perfect. We have travelled extensively but this is the first holiday we would like to relive again!

The pool and grounds were absolutely beautiful. We didn't actually meet the owner, but the staff around were very friendly and helpful. (there is a dishwasher by the way, it doesn't mention it in the brochure!)

XXX (the owners) are friendly and approachable hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Il Casello is well-appointed and spacious. Your brochure does not do it justice. Silvia is a 1st class cook, and the meals offered are excellent both quality and value. Guiseppe has a 11m cruiser and offers a day trip along the coast with lunch and swimming stops that was enjoyable.

This villa is WONDERFUL (...) the 'local' service was second to none. We use another italian property company and in terms of customer service Think Sicily is WAY ahead. The personal aspect of the booking as well as on the spot local help is second to none. Thank you.

The villa, farm and service was perfect. we have a 14 month old son and we found that the accommodation was well suited for a family.The large patio with shaded area was a wonderful play area for our son. He especially enjoyed the ride on a tractor with xxx (the owner)!

This villa was gorgeous, large, clean, and comfortable. Other comments: The villa was absolutely wonderful for us. It would be especially nice for families wanting a reunion, because of the amount of space for sleeping, eating, etc. Very, very comfortable.

Please pass on a very big thank you to the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful being cooked for by him and having a fantastic tour of the vineyard and wine tasting. We will hopefully be back at some stage.

We loved the house! It was an amazing property. The owners were very helpful and sweet. The kitchen is a dream, and the extra touches, such as giving us a suppy of their own, excellent olive oil, a lovely fruit plate and bottles of wine on arrival, really made it a special stay.

All of us want to go back and I'd have preferred to just stay indefinitely.

…I explained to them (my friends) that the best idea is to keep away from the main tourist areas and sample "real Sicily"…. I’d recommend that they try Think Sicily when searching for suitable accommodation. Thank you for all your help, we had a fantastic time. Virzi is in a superb location in the middle of nowhere and we fund it extremely relaxing and have never swum in a pool with such a fantastic view. I Ciclopi is a super apartment and again with a fabulous view. We'd certainly hope to return to Sicily in the future.

The house was a beautiful, authentic old farmhouse with original antique doors and windows, airy, and rambling. The pool was great--huge and lovely. The separate pool house was great for the teens. It was an excellent base for that part of Sicily and was just down the road from Donnafugata castle of The Leopard fame. The al fresco dining area was very pleasant, though, and we did barbeque. The owners were always available by cell phone and very helpful whenever we had a question.

El viaje ha salido muy bien, y especialmente lo que hemos hecho a trav?s de ti, es decir, autob?s, restaurantes y Falconara. Hemos comido fenomenal en todos los restaurantes de “le soste de Ulises”, y hemos estado casi siempre solos con todo el restaurante para nosotros, Ragusa nos pareci? precioso, y el conductor Fabio de Labisi se ha portado muy bien, y nosotros con ?l. Falconara sali? muy bien tambi?n, asusta mucho al principio con tanto animal muerto en las paredes, pero luego las habitaciones est?n muy bien, y la cena fue impresionante, sobre todo las tres piezas de pez espada, que no hab?amos visto cosa igual.

As you can probably see from the responses to the above questions we greatly enjoyed our stay in Virzi. Compliments, though very nice to receive, don't necessarily help as feedback. So I'd say that the worst thing about the property was the track leading from the road up to the vineyard.... that said, it certainly wouldn't put me off a return visit" (The track is constantly under repair, and is safe, but the winter rains do damage it badly. It's just one of the quirks of the place - thinkSicily)

la Soprana is a real gem in terms of views and atmosphere.

The flat is beautiful and xxxxx (the owners - thinkSicily) were lovely. It was freezing at that time of year, but that was not their fault!" (Petralia Soprana is 1,150m above sea level and does get cold in the winter... however, it offers amazing views, access to great walking all year round, and a fabulous insight into a Sicilian way of life that will not last for ever.

Excellent villa. the host was always helpful and cooked us two beautiful meals.
