When Tim Pozzi, journalist for The Times, decided to write about Pantelleria as a destination, he chose to stay at Dammuso Roccavento: "a beautifully renovated dammuso, a traditional one-storey dwelling with thick stone walls and a domes roof designed to catch and siphon off rainwater. Life was meant to be lived outside here, amid the terraced gardens with their massive cacti and date palms, lounging by the infinity pool surrounded by olive and lemon groves, drinking in the glorious vistas of the sparkling Mediterranean."
